More than 350 years ago HousHorchem was built and first mentioned 160 years ago as a guesthouse. The hotel is located in the town centre, where the River Laufenbach and the River Rur flow together.
Here the rush of the waters gives you a feeling of dormancy and  stress relaxation from the very first moment on...Here you have a nice (the best) view on the famous Red House, the old Castle Montjoie and the Watchtower Haller on the horizon of the town. Here vou have a unique view on the  River Rur and ist bridges.

That is where I want to stay
In 2001 the traditional hotel was rootedly restored with new accomodation and modern bathrooms  and lots of manual skills. Thus we succeeded in restoring the precious interior equipment and wood panelling of the listed house.

When you walk on the old stairway to your room the wood is crunching under your feet.

Here we succeeded in combining the old and the modern style.

Whether being in your canopy bed, in the bathtube or you are simply listening to the crush of the river when falling asleep...you feel good
